Project Description
Westend WiFi’s team, via our sister brand engyta(tm) sourced, coded and supplied in excess of 100,000 antimetal tags for Clear Channel’s Connect Mobile Platform. Each tag has a unique code for its location so had to be 100% perfect. The challenge was the innate 1-5% failure rate of NFC chips that had undergone substrate processing. This meant that all tags had to be verified pre and post programming, which required significant investment in process technology. See Clear Channel Case Study
