By laying in fibre, it has future proofed the city for all its unfolding commercial, residential and smart city bandwidth requirements, removing the frustrations of legacy copper and aluminium cables.
Their foresight extended to the deployment of a streetwide Wi-Fi network using the cost effective Ruckus T300 outdoor access point, and the R510 indoor AP. This service will provides city wide Wi-Fi for all Monheim’s citizens, and enabling smart city services such as intelligent parking and lighting.
